Before you turn the borrower away, get a second look. Submit a difficult FHA or VA scenario for preliminary review. A full loan application is not required simply to discuss a scenario.

Scenarios to send

FHA automated underwriting Refer findings
FHA or VA manual-underwriting scenarios
Borrowers outside a lender's credit overlays
Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy history
Challenging or limited credit profiles
Higher-DTI or other difficult scenarios needing further review

Protect borrower information.
Do not submit Social Security numbers, account numbers, passwords, tax returns, bank statements, or other sensitive borrower documents through this form.

Provide the basic facts and the reason the file cannot currently be placed. Alphonso will review the scenario and follow up.

A scenario review is preliminary and does not constitute loan approval. All loans remain subject to applicable agency requirements, lender guidelines, underwriting, and complete borrower documentation.
